Master in Forest Engineering from the University of Valladolid, he was given the Extraordinary End of Course Award for the best academic record in his year. He's received numerous scholarships, including the Collaboration Fellowship for research work from the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, which helped him start as a researcher in applied mycology. He's a collaborating member of the Mycology Chair of the University of Valladolid, participating in several international scientific congresses. At present his focus as a technician and researcher is on improving production yields in black truffle farming (Tuber melanosporum). He's been a member of the IDForest team since 2016.
